Jacs Marlio, Captain of the Ladies Section at Royal Ashdown GC carried out the tradition as the Captain and selects her charity for her year - this was to be Para-Monte.

Jacs, organised several  fund raising sessions and members of the RAGC 'Ladies’ section, were incredibly generous in their support,

As we remember their Christmas '23 get together, entailing Christmas fancy dress and golf on a very wet and soggy course attired in Christmas jumpers, snowman, elves, reindeer and even Mrs Christmas,raising £650.

During her years captaincy, Jacs together with the RAGC 'Ladies', not only won several trophies and a place in the Nationals 2026, also continued fundraising sessions for Para-Monte.

Their generosity raised a further £701 bringing their stern efforts to a massive total of £1351.00.

We are very grateful to Jacs for choosing our charity and for spreading Altitude Awareness amongst so many!

Thanks also goes to all the RAGC Ladies for raising all the funds, which will go a long way towards more education and research at both our universities at UoB and ARU.

You all did Adam proud!
